This design series continues its exploration of festive communication through a Dragon Boat Festival card design. The initiative aims to celebrate Asia's Dragon Boat Festival in 2025—one of the most celebrated festivals across Asia commemorating the patriotic poet Qu Yuan, who drowned himself in the Miluo River in protest against corruption.
The project captures the essence of the festival through iconic elements such as dragon boats, dumplings, and traditional literature related to the festival. The design incorporates sea wave and cloud patterns to enhance the immersive quality, along with quotes to complement the visuals.
This project features digital illustrations in green, yellow, red, blue, and dark blue.
