The 2025 collection concludes by reimagining the nostalgia of The Polar Express as a magical, midnight journey. This card transforms the traditional Christmas greeting into a "Round Trip" ticket, focusing on the theme of belief as the heart of the holiday season. It invites the viewer on an expedition to rediscover the wonder that defines December 25th.
The design utilises a "Holo-Polar" aesthetic, blending traditional holiday elegance with a vintage-digital atmosphere. A bold, crimson "Round Trip" Gothic badge anchors the composition, contrasted by heavy chromatic aberration and CRT-style scanlines. The visual language is completed by a minimalist star-cross logo and delicate floral filigree on the reverse, merging classic storytelling with modern glitch-art textures.
Created using Adobe Illustrator and After Effects, this project is a vertical motion graphic designed for mobile-first viewing. The animation features a double-sided ticket flipping through flickering digital noise and shimmering star glints. A low-frame-rate approach was applied to enhance the tactile, high-tech feel of the glitch effects.
